Twice a week, Acadia Center students practice their AC July 29 2014 012English while climbing (small) mountains, sailing on schooners, and doing other fun summertime things.

On two recent excursions, students sailed on the schooner Surprise out of Camden harbor and hiked to the top of Maiden Cliff in Camden Hills State Park with its lovely views of Megunticook Lake (and a slice of the Atlantic Ocean too).AC July 29 2014 011

English Course Homestays

The homestays with local families that are a part of the English immersion course package are often cited by Acadia Center students as one of the highlights of their time in Maine. Homestay hosts are eager to help you practice your conversational English and share in the everyday life of a small New England town.
