Friends/Couple Discount: Take 5% discount off the package price if you attend an English immersion course with your spouse or a friend. 

Company Discount: Take 5% discount off the package price if you and one or more colleagues take an English immersion course in the same calendar year.

Alumni Discount: Take 5% discount off the package price if you attended an English immersion course at Acadia Center in a previous calendar year.

The discounts listed above apply only to immersion courses in Camden, Maine, not to online courses.

Maximum combined discount is 10%.

Intensive Course: Combination (Private/Mini-Group)

1-week course:  $3,000
2-week course:  $5,850 ($2,925/week)
3-week course:  $8,550 ($2,850/week)
4-week course:  $11,100 ($2,775/week)

Combination course package includes:

  • 16 hours per week of English lessons including:
    10 hours per week of mini-group English lessons (maximum 4 students with 1 teacher)
    6 hours per week of private, customized English lessons
  • weekly individual 15-minute meeting with teacher to assess your progress and objectives
  • 10 hours per week of guided independent study in the study center
  • all books and materials
  • 2 afternoon teacher-led excursions per week (Tuesday & Thursday) including all admission/activity fees and transportation
  • standard plan accommodation: a comfortable private room with shared bathroom in a family home near Acadia Center, and breakfast (self-serve) every day
  • lunch with teachers (5 days per week: Monday through Friday)
  • dinners with dinner hosts (3 days per week: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday)
  • free WiFi Internet access at Acadia Center and at your accommodations
  • course certificate
  • transportation between Rockland (Maine) or Portland (Maine) airport and Acadia Center on the first and last days of your course

Intensive Immersion Courses: General Information

New intensive courses in 2023 begin every Monday from July 9 through August 5.
Schedule your arrival for Sunday and your departure for Saturday.

Standard plan accommodation – a private room in a family home near Acadia Center – is included in the course fees listed above. If you prefer to arrange your own accommodations in a hotel or bed-and-breakfast, please see our Accommodations page for more information.
