Acadia Center English students visit Rockland's Farnsworth Art Museum. Our English immersion courses take place in Camden, a small New England town on the beautiful coast of Maine. Maine is in the northeast corner of the USA, a few hours by car from Boston and from Québec.

Islands and ocean, forests and mountains, and the natural beauty of all four seasons make our area a popular vacation place.  Our village is famous for its lively harbor, walking trails, shops, seaside restaurants, and cafés.

English immersion students visit Marshall Point lighthouse in Port Clyde, made famous in Tom Hanks' film Forrest Gump.

Living in a small New England village allows you to take a break from the hurried pace of modern life and participate fully in the daily life of an American community to an extent that would be impossible in a large city. With its friendly people, tree-lined streets, and classic wooden houses, fishing boats, and sailing vessels, Camden provides a wonderful setting to study, relax, and make new friends.
