The Acadia Center is dedicated to providing the highest quality English instruction in a total immersion setting. Our summer mini-group course features mini-group and private English lessons, teacher-led excursions to places of interest in the area, and a unique learning vacation opportunity.

Throughout your course, lively, challenging lessons focus on your particular needs and help you to make as rapid progress as possible towards your language learning goals.

At the Acadia Center, you are constantly practicing and improving your English, both in class and out of class, at meals and on excursions. Excursion possibilities include mountain biking, sailing, kayaking, or skiing, depending on the season, and visits to nearby towns and their museums, cafés, and shops.

The courses are ideal for intermediate or advanced-level speakers of English who would like to make rapid progress with their English, while at the same time enjoying the hospitality and peacefulness of a small New England town.

Our summer mini-group course in 2008 takes place from July 14 to August 22. You can begin your course on any Monday during that time period. You can combine the group course with an intensive course (combination or private) either before or after the group course.

The fee for a course of 4 weeks or longer is based on a fee of $1075 per week

Summer Mini-group Course fee includes:

• 15 hours per week of mini-group English lessons and 2 hours per week of private English lessons
• all books and materials
• accommodation in a comfortable village home (private room)
• all meals every day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) except Saturday dinner
• all group excursions and activities
• free Internet access
