I began to think in English. I paid attention to others and listened carefully. When I didn’t understand, I asked… I enjoyed the games that we played in Brian’s class, watching videos, discussions… sometimes it was difficult for me to understand, but they interested me very much. I think using AV (audio-visual materials) is a good way to improve your English. My biggest problem is not recalling and using vocabulary properly in conversation, so the private lessons were helpful. I have never seen such beautiful scenery and sky with many stars…

All the classes were good, the use of videos, movies, poems, cartoons, music, etc. I took all lessons with joy… The private lessons were a great help to me, especially correcting compositions, because I was able to understand my mistakes. I was satisfied with every meal. Italian, Mexican, Cuban, and local seafood, vegetables, pies, waffles, different kinds of bread, etc. I felt warm-hearted from every meal.

I just want to tell you how thankful I am to you for your thoughtful and sincere reception during my stay. I really had a nice time. Of course, I learned some English but what touched my heart was the way you worked and organized things for us students. Teachers were always available and private lessons worked well, I think.
